Datta Meghe Medical College was established last year in 2020. It is a constituent unit of Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha. The parent University was granted Deemed status way back in 2005. Subsequently, the University has gained ‘A’ and ‘A+’ Grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, NAAC, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Govt. of India. Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha has also been listed in the Deemed to be Universities under 12B of UGC Act, 1956. Since the college is quite new and was established last year, so it was permissioned a sanctioned intake of 150 MBBS students by the National Medical Commission, New Delhi.

The college is popularly known as DMMC, Nagpur and the college is equipped with a Multispecialty Hospital of 350 beds. It facilitates Modern and Advanced Medical training to the Undergraduate students of the college itself.
