Ruxmaniben Deepchand Gardi Medical College is widely known as RD Gardi Medical College, Ujjain. RD Gardi Medical College is the very first private medical college of Madhya Pradesh. The medical college was established in 2001 and since its inception, RDGMC, Ujjain became an integral unit of Ujjain Charitable Trust Hospital & Research Centre, Ujjain.

• Candidates need to produce permanent/provisional registration provided by the NMC (Earlier MCI) or the respective state medical council.

• Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50 percentile in NEET-PG for General Category and for reserved category, the requirement is 40 percentile in the same.

All the admissions to the UG and PG Courses are strictly based on merit gained in the All India Entrance Exam. NEET i.e. National Eligibility Entrance Test is conducted twice a year by NTA (National Testing Agency) to provide admission to RDGMC, Ujjain. As per the collective guidelines of NMC and Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, RDGMC, Ujjain offers admission in distinct quotas in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the college itself.

There is a High Court, Jabalpur judgment in 2016, according to which, 85% seats are reserved for state quota only and candidates not having domicile of MP can only claim 15% of seats in the Management/NRI category. Orders are prevailing to MBBS Program. Additionally, 30% of seats in the state quota are reserved for female candidates.
