Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananda Variyar Medical College is one of the largest Deemed and the top medical colleges in the state of Tamilnadu. Kirupananda Variyar Medical College was started in 1995. The college is popularly known as KVMC, Salem. 

In beginning, KVMC, Salem was affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. Later in 2004, Kirupananda Variyar Medical College became an integral part of Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation. The Vinayaka Mission University is a ‘Deemed to be University’ registered and approved by the UGC under section 3 of the UGC Act, Govt. of India.

Kirupananda Variyar Medical College is located in the rural area of Salem, Tamilnadu. As far as the infrastructure of KVMC, Salem is concerned, Kirupananda Variyar Medical College is spread over a vast area of 51 acres. Kirupananda Variyar Medical College, Salem offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level and MD, MS at the Postgraduate level. Aspiring students need to qualify in NEET conducted by NTA followed by the counselling conducted by MCC.

To secure a seat in MBBS and PG Courses in Kirupananda Variyar Medical College, Salem the candidates need to hold certain eligibility criteria which are discussed below.

For MBBS Aspirants:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English having 50% marks from any recognized board. Candidates from the reserved category need to possess 40% in the same.
