PICT Pune is a private college affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University and is ranked 201 for BTech by NIRF 2021. PICT was established in 1983 and is approved by the AICTE, Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra, and is accredited by NAAC. All its UG programmes are accredited with A grade by the NBA. The college has four departments providing three UG courses, four PG courses, and two PhD programmes. The college conducts eligibility tests like AMCAT and various training sessions as a part of placement assistance. In the ongoing placement process, it was noticed that 532 students got placed and an average package of INR 10.56 LPA was offered to the selected candidates.

The modes of PICT Pune admission 2022 are online and offline. The selection is merit-based and takes place through counselling. UG admissions are based on the guidelines of the Directorate of Technical Education. The college considers JEE Mains Scores for admission to its four-year BE programmes. At the PG level, the college provides a two-year ME course. The college provides BTech in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. The college provides MTech in Data Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, and Communication.
