Vedanta Institute of Medical Sciences is the newest established medical institute in the Palghar district in the state of Maharashtra.The college is popularly known as VIMS and this is the very recent privately established medical institute in the district of Palghar.

VIMS was established in 2017 and affiliated to ‘Maharashtra University of Health Sciences’ i.e. MUHS, Nashik. The college is well approved by the National Medical Commission (Earlier MCI).Currently, VIMS offers MBBS at the Undergraduate level. The duration of the course is 5.6 yrs including 1 year of Mandatory Internship.
